If you’re like most men and you drool over Playboy bunny Kim Kardashian, Mansion in Miami is the place you’ll want to be this New Year’s Eve. Along with Kardashian, who will host the event, will be DJ Colleen Shannon, who is promoted as “the world’s sexiest DJ.” While this may sound like a New Year’s made in heaven, you’ve got to wonder how many local Miami babes will be in attendance. The danger with promoting hotties for a stylish event like this is that you run the risk of ending up with a sausage fest and not enough women in the crowd.

The Indulgence New Year’s Eve Bash

Seattle

The sixth annual Indulgence Bash is the largest New Year’s party in Seattle. The venue is a palatial 140,000 square-foot museum of music founded by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen. Housing both rock memorabilia and technological multimedia displays, the architecture is overwhelmingly avant garde. Designed by Frank Gehry, the building’s undulating, sheet-metal surfaces provide a glorious space and plenty of room to get your drink on. Inside, there will be three dance floors, an open bar and a comedy lounge.

Sky Bar at The Shoreclub

Miami

Hosted by Ashlee Simpson and featuring a live performance by Eve, Sky Bar at The Shoreclub is renowned as one of America’s more raucous parties. In part, this is because of Miami’s weather, and the fact that The Shoreclub property includes a pool, tropical gardens and outdoor bars to go along with the indoor lounges. The venue is on Miami’s South Beach, and the building’s architecture is the handiwork of famed British architect David Chipperfield. After passing through the Art Deco lobby, the building’s defining feature is its labyrinth of indoor gardens and passageways that twist and turn toward hidden alcoves.

New Year’s Eve at Hotel Gansevoort

New York

Celebrated gossip columnist and blogger Perez Hilton will be on hand to ring in the New Year at the Gansevoort; New York’s hottest boutique hotel in the Meatpacking District. Featuring an open bar and catering by the restaurant Ono, the festivities will be split between several rooms, including a basement spa and a spectacular indoor roof garden and lounge.

Kanye West at Palms Hotel for New Year’s Eve

Las Vegas

Over the last few years, Kanye West has gone from producing Jay-Z’s beats to the frontlines of the rap world. While he may not have accumulated the same degree of critical acclaim and cultural impact as Jay-Z, there is little doubt that Kanye West is in the same ballpark.

At the Palms Hotel this year, West will headline the evening’s events when he performs in the Pearl Theater inside the hotel. In addition to Kanye West, a mixed bag of celebrities and hotties will provide alternative forms of entertainment. From Dave Navarro and DJ Skribble to Jaime Pressly and “10 of the world’s sexiest Playboy Playmates,” this event may lack a clear style, but this is Vegas, a city that specializes in incompatible extravagance.
